Wednesdays @ 630pm – New 8-week Session Begins March 7th!
Mondays @ 630pm – New 8-week Session Begins April 2nd !
A fun and sexy dance that is easy to learn and we will have you out on the dance floor in no time at all! This dance is thought of as a slower more romantic dance with a lot of fun hip action for the ladies! It’s almost always played at the Salsa clubs so it is good to know some basics. In this class we will go over your fundamental movements and turns and show you how to have a good time and add a little flavor!
Thursdays @ 630pm – New 8-week Session Begins March 8th!
Mondays @ 730pm – New 8-week Session Begins April 2nd!
Whether you have one left foot or two, we will start with the basic step and have you dancing in no time! Class includes basics such as the Cross-body Lead, Right turn, and Cross-body Lead with an Inside Turn. You may join this class the first or second week, but after the second week we recommend waiting for the next session to begin for a better learning experience! Don’t keep putting it off! Learn to dance now!
Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance originating from Brazil. Also known as Zouk-Lambada, the dance is a descendant of Lambada. Brazilian Zouk is characterized by the dancers’ body rolls and waves and the girls’ flowing hair. Depending on the style of Brazilian Zouk, you can see a close connection embrace and long graceful steps, strong hip movements, body isolations and upper-body torsions, wild spins and whip-like head movements. It is danced by people of all ages in night clubs, dance schools and events around the world!

When can I start?
If you want to take a private lesson, you can begin immediately!
If you’d rather do a group lesson, you can join progressive courses on these dates:
Bachata Level 1: March 7th, April 2nd, May 2nd, July 11th
Salsa Level 1: March 8th, April 2nd, May 3rd, May 28th, July 12th
Zouk Level 1: Coming Soon
How much does it cost?
To pay for the 8-week course, you can buy an 8-class package. Or, if you know that you will be taking more than one 8-week course, you can save money with a 16-class package.
Pricing is as follows:
– Drop in: $20
– 4-class package (drop-in classes or workshops only): $60
– 8-class package: $100
– 16-class package: $160
Do I need to bring a partner?
Absolutely not! We rotate partners so that everyone gets a chance to dance with everyone!
Do I have to rotate partners?
Definitely not! It is not required to rotate in group classes, but is highly recommended. It gives you the opportunity to practice leading and following, instead of just doing the move. If you find yourself getting frustrated in a group class try rotating. You might just be surprised!
What should I wear?
Anything you are comfortable in. Everything from business casual to jeans and a t-shirt, and yes, even yoga pants.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
Dance shoes are always the best options but, if you are not quite sure if you have been officially converted into a dance addict yet, anything that will let you spin on a wood floor will work – even socks! (Super grippy tennis shoes are bad!)
Where can I get dance shoes?
You can order shoes from us! We are distributors for Supadance and Very Fine shoes. If you are looking for a brand or style we don’t carry, you can always order online, or you can try Petticoat Junction in Lynnwood.
What if I miss a class?
There are no refunds for classes missed and they do not carry over to the next session. We review the material from the previous classes each week, and our classes are progressive so you will still get all of the course material.
